A LESSON FROM THE TREES!

I think it is fair to say that in life we can often get blind sided in such a way that we feel that we might never climb back up the hill again to enjoy a properous day, week, month or even the year! No matter how prepared we might be to face our everyday challenges from within our jobs, social envolvements, through the sickness arena or even our personal or family relationships, we never seem to be prepared enough. many often feel as if the wind has been knocked out of their sails and that they just don't have any more of themselves to give to anyone or anything! Have you ever been overwhelmed with these kind feelings or is this exactly where you are now? I believe that nature has a lot of life lessons for us if we just stop to breath and take in what is around us and how they handle the storms that pass by. Take the trees for instance, The winds and rains and the various seasonal assults hammer them over and over that when the dust settles and the storm passes by, they are still for the most part still standing. Why? How can they survive when the storm seems so much bigger than they are? The answer to the question is really quite simple. They have learned to bend in the winds and with strong roots, though branches or pieces may end up being torn away, much still remains to face another day, another storm. If, when you have to face another heavy or unexpected storm, if you can learn to bend with it, and yes some times it can become very difficult, believe it or not you will make it through because you have not only held your ground on what you know and can control, but you have let blow by what you can't control. You are tougher than you think and if you are a religious person, know that God, by asking, will give you all you need to see the daylight and rainbows of promise again! Believe in yourself and Learn to Bend like the Trees and nothing will have the strength to overtake you!
